The study puts forward a comparison between rhythm in UI/UX design and the Indian classical performing arts, which are all rhythm-based. It discusses how rhythm plays a fundamental role in creating new compositions in Indian classical dance and rhythm-based designs in the field of User Interface and User Experience design. The objective is to explore how an individual’s rhythmic aptitude can contribute to both aesthetically engaging performances and seamless, user-friendly digital experiences (Tidwell et al., 2019). By analysing the different patterns which emerge while studying the similarities between the rhythmic aspects of Indian dance through studying the dance form of Kathak and UI design, this research aims to broaden the idea of rhythm as a tool for creativity in an individual. While rhythm is often discussed in isolation within the domains of dance and design, its interdisciplinary application remains unexplored. This research aims to fill that gap by introducing the concept of "rhythmic creativity" as a common aspect between these two fields.
