Idea Of The Logo

  1. The logo shows the two national butterflies of both countries, Finland and India, namely, the holly blue and the orange oakleaf, respectively. Butterflies symbolise prosperity, hope, and freedom. Using the national butterflies as the representative of the nation, I wish to communicate that the relationships between India and Finland may continue to prosper and create hope for citizens of the nations through collaborative ideas in the future.

  2. The national flag is every country’s pride. The national flag in the background serves as an identification of the respective country.

  3. The lily of the valley flower is the national flower of Finland, whereas the lotus is the national flower of India. Both flowers have a lot of significance in the ancient history and culture of both countries.

  4. The lily of the valley, also known as keilo, in the local language, is featured in Finnish romantic poetry as well as pop songs.

  5. The lotus is regarded as a sacred flower by Indians and is surrounded by many legends, religious mythology, and folklore. It represents knowledge. The amalgamation of the two national flowers is to encourage the exchange of cultures among the countries.

Overall, this logo is a hope for harmonious and peaceful relations between India and Finland and also encourages evolving the current diplomatic and business relations to an even deeper friendship in the future.
